What is a Duck Team?

Responsibilities of Team Captain:
- A Duck Team is a business, organization, agency or group that a wishes to support Communities In Schools by forming a team to promote and sell ducks for the Communities In Schools Duck Derby to be held on Saturday April 28, 2018.
- The largest benefit is to help Communities In Schools continue their work in Catoosa County to help keep kids in school!
- Assembling a Duck Team will also give you the opportunity to advertise your business or organization via Communities In Schools social media and newspaper sources.
- Just for assembling a Duck Team and raising $500 in ducks sales, you will receive hospitality passes to the Graduation Tent the day of the Duck Derby. (The number of passes will be determined based on the amount of money raised.) The Graduation Tent will have FREE food and non-alcoholic beverages for attendees PLUS you will be entered for door prizes to be given away that evening.
- Last but not least, your Duck Team will be entered into a contest for the opportunity to win awards based on the top duck sells for each team category, top selling individual, coolest Duck decoration and top selling Corporate Duck Sponsor.
- NO, it does not cost to enter a Duck Team!
- You can enter a Duck Team by visiting our derby website at www.CISCATOOSA.com. Also, paper applications can be obtained online. Complete and returned the application to the attention of Suzanne Chovanec via email at [email protected], fax to 706-861-4855, or mail to Communities In Schools 2 Barnhardt Circle Ft. Oglethorpe, GA 30742. Once the application is received a Duck Ambassador will contact you to collect more information and answer any questions. Responsibilities of Team Captain:
- Attend the Captain’s meeting to be held on March 16 at 12:00 p.m. at Catoosa County Learning Center located in Ringgold, Georgia . Lunch will be provided.
- Agree to selling ducks for the 2018 Communities In Schools Duck Derby to be held on Saturday April 28, 2018.
- If applicable, decorate and display a duck (to be provided) at your place of business.
- Work with your assigned Duck Ambassador to organize opportunities for your business or organization to advertise and promote duck sales for your team.
